Tour Jogja Temples, Lava & Nature - 4 Days

Arriving in the afternoon at Yogyakarta International Airport, you will be picked up by our guide and staff. After that, you will head to a restaurant for lunch. After lunch, the tour continues to Parangtritis Beach and Parangkusumo Beach for a jeep adventure around the Barchan Sand Dunes and the southern coastal sands, as well as a visit to Cepuri Parangkusumo, known as a sacred offering site for the ruler of the southern sea. Then proceed to Yogyakarta city for dinner. After dinner, transfer to the hotel for check-in.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will be taken to visit Mendut Temple, a small temple near Borobudur that is commonly used for meditation before heading to Borobudur Temple, the largest Buddhist temple in the world. After lunch, you will go on a Lava Tour by jeep, exploring the remnants of Mount Merapi's eruption, including visits to the Kaliadem Bunker, Mbah Maridjan’s House, and the Kalikuning trail. Afterwards, you will return to Yogyakarta and head to the Kilometer Zero Point (KM 0) on Malioboro Street to see former Dutch colonial buildings and Jogja’s most famous shopping district. Return to the hotel after dinner.

After having breakfast at the hotel, you will visit the Hindu Prambanan Temple and the Sewu Temple complex that surrounds Prambanan. Next, you will head to Tebing Breksi to enjoy panoramic views of Jogja from a former limestone quarry carved with unique artistic ornaments. After lunch, the tour continues to Goa Pindul in Wonosari to admire the beauty of stalagmites and stalactites typical of karst hill caves while floating on used inner tubes (cave tubing). Then, you will proceed to the Pine Forest of Pengger to enjoy the sunset from a pine plantation enhanced with artistic installations perfect for photography. After dinner, return to the hotel.

After breakfast and checking out of the hotel, you will be transferred back to Yogyakarta International Airport for your next flight.
